Germany is a relatively small country where people are really into driving thats why they make such great cars. When they are in there car they drive and when they reach there destination they eat and drink.I didnt say all cupholders break! To the Germans driving is an activity all its own so they dont need to suplement it with tasty beverages.

 

I have a cup holder, cant see it breaking tbh as its under the armrest.

Who needs them? If liquid spills into the shifter whether from a drink or from leaving the sunroof open your toast
