Would any of you guys buy a salvaged car?
I know of a BMW X5 around here that fell off a truck and it interests me. Nice suv for a really great deal and fair repair costs. Would you guys ever buy a salvaged car?

yeah, what he said and most dealers/repairs shops will agree. A gut bought a 2004 7 series flood (fresh water) damaged for $15,000 and it need over $70,000 in repairs just to get it road worthy. Everything was wet and filled with sediments. All of he electronica would have had to be replaced. He was better off just buying a non salvage one.
But anything besides fire and water, it might be a steal. Just make sure you have someone that can fix it right the first time.

One problem with a salvaged car is that it gets a salvage title. This means no matter how much money you put into it, its always going to be practically worthless. So make sure you get it for an absolute steal.
The only car that I have ever considered buying as salvaged, was this Ferrari 365 sitting in the junkyard with the tires rotting off of it. The car was complete, but everything was rotted out and rusted. The owner never could decide how much to ask, so I never bought it; its probably still there.
