Howdy everyone! I?m a new UTV owner trying to figure out which style of windshield makes the most sense for my setup. I?ve been looking at different options and keep wondering how half windshields hold up once the weather turns cold.
Right in the middle of my research I realized I should probably compare everything to a Polaris Ranger midsize 500 rear windshield, since I?m debating between flip‑down, full, or vented styles.
Do the flip‑downs push too much air into the cab, almost like having nothing at all? And if I don?t have doors yet, is a rear window even worth adding now, or should I wait until winter when I install doors?
Also curious whether hard‑coat poly is really a big upgrade.
