Who is going to win the 2008 Election?

I sometimes wonder what would happen if the general populous hadn't gotten sucked into current political mentality?
There was a point in time when Americans voted their conscience and not for the "lesser of evils". There was a point in time when more than two parties had a chance at winning the election (and often did). There was a point in time when being the leader of the "free world" meant that in order to be free, we had to protect the RIGHTS of Americans above all else.
We have become so entrenched in the utter corruption of our political system that we forget that it is supposed to be "For the people, by the people....". From the time of FDR until now (with the exception of the 8 years of Ronnie), the oval office has been nothing more than a comfortable chair or an all out attempt at power mongering.
There is not a dimes worth of difference between the Republicans and the Democrats. In a nutshell they both fight over the POWER and could care less about the American citizen. The issues they fight over are ridiculous and most of them should be handled at the State level, but that doesn't get votes.
One definition of insantiy is "Doing things exactly the same but expecting different results. Are we all insane?
It is time we change our attitudes about voting, and get them both out of office. Voting for a third party is not a wasted vote, it is a wake up call that we want change.

Im a John McCain fan and I have always been a Republican. But this election is a real toss up. It should be interesting now that we are getting down to the wire.
