What do you think about Napoleon?
I often read history blogs, but they are mostly boring reviews listing dates. So when I saw an article with the title facts about napoleon, I did not expect anything special. But the content of the article hooked me. Five facts - and each of them is amazing. For example, the story with the rabbits: an army lined up in battle formation, and... wild animals attacking the emperor. It might seem like a joke, but it really happened. Or the fact that Napoleon was not as short as we were always told. The French and the English just used different measurement systems. It makes you think about how easily images of historical figures are distorted. These facts about Napoleon showed me how interesting it is to dig into the details of the past. Now I try to find similar articles about other famous figures - after all, the truth is often much more interesting than myth.
