Chop suey is a dish invented in America for Americans. I didn't think you could get chop suey in Asia?

If I were starving, I'd pretend like I wasn't hungry if someone put that in front of me... and I don't even know what it is.

what type of restaurant would it be in? (chinese, japanese, thai?)

I guess it's a seafood (shrimp) stew? I mean, it's cooked in liquids as opposed to fried?
