I saw in a magazine today that if you dropped $3,900 down payment on a base model C230, your payments would only be like $350 for 27 months. That's barely anything and assuming that you'd pay sticker.
Thats for leasing it not buying it!

mbz300,

What magazine? What base price?

The cheapest one here is $35k, but its loaded with all the gadgets I never wanted. Thats almost $600/mo. for 48 months, purchase.

Right now, I'm asking my dealer to loacate a basic C230 with "manual tranny" and basic radio etc. I'm expecting it to be around $29K. Is this too much?

Automatic tranny- I hate them, so why ask me to pay extra for one? The last Auto-tranny repair on my honda cost $5500!

Sunroof-I used my sunroof twice in four years, so why pay $1700 for one.

Radio- I'm an Ipod enthusiast now, so the old 6CDplayer is obsolete to me.

I actually like the automatic seat controls. They are nice and generally wont stop the engine from running if they break. so ok to them.

That quote was what AMG said he thought that, it meant buying it. i was telling him it was a lease. if your getting one mostly base then i'd say 28-30 is about right. Yeah cause u can't have one ordered cause the last one rolled off the assembly linea few months ago!

Lease or purchase? Because the ones here are loaded and sell for $35k.

The one I want is plain with manual tranny, radio/singleCD and sells for about 29K, and that's about $500/month for 60mo.

Sorry I re-posted that. The previous screens just now showed up on my browser.

I like the grill with the MB emblem in the center;is that available for the 07 C230?

I also prefer the '06 5spoke rims over the '07 6spoke rims; do you think I would have any trouble trading them even with another owner?

It probably was a lease.I think a gooddealer should be able to swap rims for his customer.

I saw a better pic of the 2008 in another magazine.I also noticed the ugly pic was removed from the site. Maybe it was just a bad shot.

Default C-Class

I must say that I quite like the C-Class! It's sporty and MB is trying to appeal to a broader target group i think.

My friend bought this one in black. Once you drive it yourself you will love it!

That's a good video. I'm still trying to appreciate or realize the design. I will have to consider the car because the 06's are all gone, and I really wanted a brand new one with under 100 miles, AND a special order color.
