my dog also is nowhere to be found everytime a fireworks is heard. he would hide on a corner shaking and barely able to walk.

very strange because during mating season, he is as brave as maximus

No wonder I felt a bit wounded on Tuesday. LOL

 

My Dog was tripping out on the fireworks as well. She was sticking to me like glue.... I couldn't get 5 inches from her and she was trying to get in my lap.

She's a Maltese ... so Hunting is out of the question for me too ! LOL

 

My one dog Ben could care less, he's dopey. My other dog Sage...my God, she's like a cat. She gets skittish over everything. Thunderstorms scare the crap out of her. I couldn't get her out of the basement this morning and it was only cloudy out. If I shake a trash bag near her, she puts her tail between her legs and runs. I don't know what her deal is. So, she was the same with the fireworks. They're both Golden Retrievers.

 

This dog is different.
