Yes i have used it and have seen it used for a variety of things it works great as a Lub.

Why do you want to use it? In other words, what are you trying to accomplish by using it?
'Cause if you're using Mobil 1 syn., your getting great engine protection. I don't think it will hurt anything, and I've heard old timers (even some new timers) say they use it all the time.
