CS 1.6 on Windows 11 ? Any Recommendations?
Hello everyone,
I?ve been trying to find a good version of Counter Strike 1.6 that works properly on Windows 11, but it?s not as straightforward as I expected.
There are a lot of downloads out there, but I?m not sure which ones are safe or optimized for newer systems. I just want a stable CS 1.6 version that runs without crashes or compatibility issues.
If anyone here has experience with this, please let me know what worked for you.

I’d suggest trying CS 1.6. I’ve been playing Counter Strike 1.6 on Windows 11 and it still runs surprisingly well with the right version.

It’s a solid build, no crashes, and everything is already set up nicely.
If you’re into skill-based shooters without all the modern extras, this is a great pick.
