Personally, I love the standard crosshair in clean CS 1.6. It's perfect because the head is right at the intersection of all the lines. Consequently, the bullet flies to the right place, resulting in a headshot and extra points for it. I didn't even make any additional settings, I left everything as it is. Did you leave the crosshair movement with recoil? I found this option unnecessary, so I removed it and left the crosshair stationary. When I downloaded the classic version of CS 1.6 here, I was really concerned that all the settings would remain in their original form.
