Hello all i have 190e 2.6 and man i will have to say i am very impressed with the car. I have worked on mercedes in the past and had no ideal that a mercedes could be dialed in in such a way from the bowden cable. On a 300 or 400e there are many things that you just don't have to fool with. 190e not so there are plenty of things to fiddle with i bought the car to further my benz education and this little car has taught me a whole new wealth of info with immediate application to other models. What a awesome little auto. I will say you have to be the right owner who is will to learn a lil car maintenance and be willing to pay for the special tools/new tools required to maintain the car. I noticed when trying to find info on these car that was a lot of guys who worked on these cars on a lift now i see why, what a struggle to gain proper clearance under the car with a jack and stands. Not to enjoyable for a big guy. And parts are just glued on in tight spaces. I cant believe the abuse the car and engine can really take.
