Seeking advise
Hi there,
I'm new to the forum and have never owned an MB. I am however, looking into importing a diesel wagon from Germany into Canada.
It is hard to believe that even in the "Motherland" these vehicles are hard to come by... I'm of course talking about the W124's...
I am considering only the manual transmission of the 1993-1994 model year (it has to be 15 years or older for ease of importation into Canada)
My dilemma is whether Ishould considerthe 2.5 (5 cylinder) or the 3.0 (6 cylinder) diesels. Other than the difference in power and fuel consumption, which are obvious, I'm interested inthe availability of spare parts / service. Since I know that, the 3.0 was sold in North America (1995 m.y.)but not the 2.5.
If anybody out there has any experience with these vehicles, your feedback would be highly appreciated.
Maybe I should post on the diesel forum???
Thank you
