I own a 2002 C200 - to date my odometer stands at around 51000km
My problem is with the empty compartment in the centre console between the radio and the aircon control panel
After parking the car under the sun for 2 hours the whole compartment is wet with some slimy substance - and it is also breaking up into pieces

Is Mercedes making such poor quality stuff. Most of the time my car is kept under roof, but it so happens that this time it is parked outside for a few hours.
The last time a similar thing happened was some years back - but the compartment didn't break up - now is the second time and looks like the compartment is breaking up into pieces
