I have an old 93 300E 105K that is in all ways a fine vehicle.
But she started drooling.....
just a few drops a day, nothing severe yet. I don't have to add anything between oil changes.
MB dealer says it's the head gasket and want's $1800. Anyadvice?

 

What else is it doing? Surely, if it's the head gasket you have other symptoms as well? Welcome to the forum.

Nope. Nothing else seems wrong. The car runs great, just had to change the oil pressure sensor, but other wize she runs fine. There is just an ever greater number of oil spots on the garage floor.
