newbie alert
Hi all;
I am new to this forum, but not new to Mercedes automobiles or diesels. I purchsed an 06 e320cdi in may'06. So far I have been amazed by this car compared to some earlier diesel benzs owned. This has been one of the few vehicles I have driven that will exceed the fuel mileage on the window sticker. Also one of the few cars that I have owned that have not been back to the dealership for any repair. Anyway, looking forqrd to your forum

Hey hows it going i have been wanting someone that had some experience with the older MB diesels that own a CDI to join the forum WELCOME plz dont become a stranger and keep us informed on how the car is doing i am trying to get an idea of the future track record of this engine thanks alot!!!
hi mbz300sdl;
I will be glad to keep you updated on the e320cdi. My personal best mileage to date was a trip from southeast ohio to branson, mo. I had 92 miles on the tank of fuel when I left town and drove approx. 65 miles beyond st. louis before a fill-up. That was a distance of 793 miles on one tank and fuel mileage of 38.97 mpg. For me anyway, that eliminates any reason to own a small car and any hybrid. I owned a civic hybrid and personal best on it was 43.7 mpg.
