Hello all.....my .name is Jeff....my wife & I are the proud owners of a pre-owned 1990 SL500 with 75K original salt free original miles. Needs some TLC and I would like to know where a good resource is to lookup parts & part numbers for this model. Seems most every where I go with google search "OEM Mercededs-Benz parts" I get incomplete lists. I am looking for complete parts diagrams so I can update any parts that are needed to get the car back to a better presentable condition....i.e. alot of plastic pieces are quite brittle.

Here is an example of what I can not find.....below the windshield wiper arm along the base of the windshield is a plastic triangular shaped screen....there are two of these....on drivers' side, the other is passenger side ....appears to be a leaf guard device ..... so what are they called?? where do I find the part #'s for each one??

any advice is appreciated.

found the pieces I previously described......they are called "moulding, win" ....part #'s: R-1296700208; L-1296700108

 

They sell it in Auto Haus AZ and Pelican Parts.

Yes, 1296700208 here and 1296700108 here. Anything else that you may need, but can't find in our catalog, you can post the part number in the search bar and it will pull it up.
