New member from Thailand (but have been using for many years)
Hi all,
My name is Ake from Bangkok Thailand. I have owned 190E 2.3-16 since 2005 and still love it. When I got it it came with E500 Limited wheel (same as EVO II wheel), manual transmission, Eibach spring and Koni shock absorber.
Many things added afterward for better driving feel, Recaro SPG seat, Personal steering wheel.
Then in late 2008 I started to turn the car into fully track car with EVO II kit, FRP parts to any replaceable body parts, adapting Japanese performance parts to heat up the performance (they are way cheaper than Merc's) for example LSD and suspension.

Engine internal is still stock 2.5-16 but add custom intake manifold and Wolf 3D standalone ECU

The sound of the engine and what I raced last year were in the youtube links below;
First engine Start:

Race Last year, can not compete the BMW because they were fully modified but I was only stock engine with street suspension.
YouTube - 190E 2.3-16v in Superclub Thailand 2009 Rd. 8 Euro Classic
Race Edit from the organizer in what I raced early 2009
YouTube - Nitto 3K Racing Thailand 2009 Rd.2 Retro Class
Also I am making polyurethane bush for suspension arms, engine mount and rear subframe for 190E. You can see from what our friends in 190E are using (like in 190E rev and Merc 190.co.uk)
best regards,
Ake

Also, last year, Just got pictured of the race car in the local magazine in Thailand. This special edition covers some stand-out race cars in Thailand and my car is part of it!!! It is a kind of achievement for the small little project car.
