I am an Ex-Flight Engineer, living in India. I have aMercedes 123 200 D 1984 model.
It had given me wonderful servie all these years since I bought new from West Germany.

Just 2 days back when I wanted to start, there was no glowplug light on the dash board.
I checked for al sorts of clue. Today again I tried, this time the glow plug came on for a second and went off.
Still I tried to wait for therelay sound , whichwas very feeble and took long time, but though I cranked theengine for long , no luck in getting the engine started. Fuel flow to theinjetors are ok.
Now, can anyone ,please let me know 1. How to test theglow plugs, 2. how to checktheglow plug relay.
