having had her for a year ive given her a good look-over and she needs about 500 quid of "sorting" to bring her close to normality, she is a fine specimen but the smallest of her kind. is it worth the effort or should i move "up-spec"....? repairs include mid section exhaust [the farts], radiator/cooling fan coupling[the sweats], rust to front wing/arch[cold soar], noisy rear rear diff at low speed/4th-5th gear[back ache].

 

that's probably a big thing for you...well, certainly if your usual budget had its cost, then make effort for it...repairs can cause you spending a lot of money...that's an err feeling...but i loved my cars too, '85....since she was too old, changing the old stuff radiator to mercedes 500sel radiator is just the only thing i can do rather than having the latest car..
