Just bought a used (one owner) 87 300d Turbo Diesel. This is one clean, well cared for car, with only 103k miles on it. Any have any useful hints or warnings, would be appreciated, as this is my first Diesel vehicle. I am not afraid to get dirty, and do know my way around tools, but I do understand that the Mercedes , esp deisel, is a whole new world. Looking forward to interacting with all you experts out there!!
Oh, just asking but, I am pretty sure the body is 124 or 126...does that translate into any "class"? I am seeing E class, S Class etc when buying accesories, but not much diesel, or D class! Or we outcast?
