Hi everyone!
I am so glad to find this site.
I recently bought my dream car - a 1975 450SL. Have wanted one since college.
Now it is time to enjoy my dream!
I am looking for other vintage Mercedes owners or a Mercedes club in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area.

RE: Hi everyone!
Hello and welcome to this forum. It's a very good forum and people help you out when or if you get problems with the benz.
Oh and just cruise around south hampton roads and find another vintage mercedes. Who knows you might find one!

RE: Hi everyone!
Thank You both for the Welcome to the site!
In a way she has already become a nightmare, however, that seems to be changing. The previous owner was ill and the car sat for several years. After I bought her I had to replace numerous parts, especially the hoses and lines just to get her running. I took the car in for a full lookover by mechanics. Most of the mechanical work I can do myself, but when I am stumped back to the shop she goes!
We are still having some problems, however, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now, and am anticipating repairing one minor ding. The body and paint job was excellant otherwise and I just ordered the interior kit to replace the kick panels, so hopefully it has come to the point that I am doing normal maintenance.
I have seen several of the SL series in Norfolk and Virginia Beach and hooked up with an owner of one yesterday.
So I am finding them now. Will post a photo soon.
