Hello everyone,
I have been battering my brains for the past few weeks deciding whether to buy a 190e 2.5-16v or a 2.3-16v. I find its a bit more difficult finding the 2.5 but they are available.
I currently have a 1991 190e 1.8, its fantastic! it took me a while to find it as they are not many in the condition that i have. I love the car.
Dont know if i have posted this in the right place but does anyone have any ideas about these two cars?
I have checked out some stats on them and there is very little difference which makes me ask why have them if so similar! i feel there is something i dont know.
Any help would be much appriciated.

seems that 2.5 is diesel.

the 2.6 is 6 cyl.

best reccomended (by me) is the 201.028

The 2.5-16v is definately a petrol engine. Mercedes made 2 cosworth engines, one was the 2.3 litre 16 valve and the other was 2.5 -16v.
Saying that i also think that the 2.3 might be better but i hear different from others and want to be sure before i decide to buy my baby!
