Hello from Ohio!
Hello to the forum from northeastern Ohio. I just acquired my third M-B, a 73,000 mile 2000 ML-430. I previously owned a 1977 450 SEL which I traded on a 1986 300 E, and then as college tuition escalated geometrically and my income stayed stagnant, I replaced the 300E with a 1993 Accord. I've pretty much been a Honda guy ever since.
The ML 430 is going to be the transport for my big dog (Mastino is the Italian word for Mastiff), and my day-trip vehicle to local ski areas, and I don't anticipate putting more than 6 K miles a year on it.
I look forward to learning a lot about the vehicle and its idiosyncracies, and the best tips on how to keep it shiny and smooth-running, from all you more experienced people on the forum. My technical level of expertise is pretty much stretched to the breaking point by the operations of checking the oil dipstick, putting air in the tires, and replacing light bulbs.
