sounds like they sell cars there nowadays por kilo.

i thought 116 use carburator... stromberg or something.

the fuel distributor and injectors will cost far more than the car.

WORTH I DONT KNOW BUT ITS IN GOOD SHAPE!..EVERY THING WORKS BUT MOTOR DONT START BUT OF A FEW SECONDS AT A TIME ..OVER HERE THEY HAD CIS ON IT,,ITS AN 1980 HAS 6.9 LITERS THAT 417 CU. IN.,,ITA A 450SEL 6.9,,HAS HYD SUSPENION ON ALL CORNERS,,ITS ON THE GROUND NOW...SITTING 3 YEARS ,,,I CAN GET REBUILT DIST FOR CHEAP ,,I GOT A GOOD FUEL PUMP..PROB GOT SOME GOOD INJECTORS TOO. I JUST WANT TO GET IT FIRED UP SO I CAN HEARD IT RUN LONGER,,,,SO SUSP.CAN PUMP UP...ALMOST GOT STARTED TODAY RAN OUT OF SPARE TIME..

6.9s were know for there torque back in that time...they were hogs only made 79-80 modle in 116 body i belive not to familar with 6.9 engines not mant around ,, but bascily the same..417 cubes is bigger than the 560s witch onlt had 337 cubes....i need more fuel in the tank just put 2 gal in was getting ready to run on its own 'i think 'keep you up to date...

WELL IGOT IT RUNNING SO,SO..IT CAUGHT FIRE ON BACK LOT..CATS GOT HOT AND CAUGHT LEAVES ON FIRE..BOY WAS I FREAKING OUT !

Hello - posted problem in another forum - thought I'd post here too. My 1999 E320 has started to stall while idling. I try to restart it but it will not turn over immediately. Minutes later, it finally starts. However, very scary to have this happen with an infant in the car. I refuse to drive it now. Has been in shop for a week being tested. Shop does not have Mercedes scan tool so determining problem difficult. Is this true?

Any other suggestions?

COULD BE A NUMBER OF THING ONLY MB DEALERS HAVE THE GOOD SCAN TO ,,SOME INDENPENT SHOPS LIKE OURS HAVE A REAL COMPUTER TOOL...YOUR CAR AS THE FLAT KEY CORRECT??THE RED END??
