Default A few N00b Questions.

I don't own a mercedes yet, but I had a few questions. I know that you can't get a manual when you get an AMG. I REALLY REALLY want a manual. I'm mainly looking at the C class. If I get a c320 kompressor (if they make one) with a 5/6 speek manual, what would it take to make the HP that an AMG would? What is the main difference between the c320 kompressor and an AMG. Can I even get a c320 kompressor? How reliable is changing the pulley and chipping the car? Sorry for all the questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

There's big power difference between C230K and C32/55. You will have to decide if you want 6-speed manual or 300+ hp. Better yet, purchase C320 manual and KLEEMANN C32K Stage 1 which outputs 330hp, 325lbs-ft.

What does the kit cost? Is there a bigger kit, that is reliable, for the C320? It's my understanding, please correct me if I am wrong, that if I get the AMG, I can put a different pulley and chip it for close to 450 hp. What would it take to get that out of a C320?

KLEEMANN C320 Stage I is $9500 (330hp, 325lb/ft). Stage II is $10500 (350hp, 345lb/ft).
KLEEMANN C32 Stage I is $3395 (395hp, 372lb/ft). Stage II is $6795 (411hp, 387lb/ft).
ASP pulley are also available for C32 and C55.
