dead battery..can't get into the trunk

dead battery..can't get into the trunk
My son has a 1996 SL convertible with a dead battery. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get into the trunk in order to jump the car. Or is there another means in which to start it? Thanks Oynotcliffy
