check engine light
Hi --
I've got a '94 e320 convert. It's fully stock w/ 38K orig. miles and no accidents. Check engine light comes on periodically for no apparent reason, and stays on until service tech re-sets it. This has happened maybe 5 times in the last 20K miles. Car has had all recommended maintenance services. Also, I recently replaced the wiring harness and throttle actuator, but the light just came back on after about 1000 miles. Technician says this is a common problem in these cars and he can't do much more than re-set the light each time it happens. Any ideas on how I can fix this issue? Thanks for your help.
