Couple questions if anyone knows answers to.

1. MB is high end premium luxury automotive engineering which understandably comes at a hefty price tag and is not the car of choice for those on a budget. With that said why is Mercedes putting 6 cylinder engines in their vehicles especially the new SClass? I think the V8 and V12 should never be replaced with smaller engines that need turbos and other mechanisms to try to produce what a V8 easily could.

2. what happened to s500 being around 5.0L and now they slap q 500 # on the car which no longer is even close to actual liters . Where is all the consistency they had for such a long run changing back and forth constantly. Biggest joke is getting rid of C63 V8 for pathetic new small engine.
