Default 92 E 400

I recently purchsed a 92 E 400 with 160,000.00 miles on clock. I watched owner maintain car for two years, was not neglected as far as I can tell. Conversely I believe his choice to upgrade was most likely partially driven by impending and present service/repair demands. So far it would seem I am in for an expensive fan clutch, looking for a used one. My power steering, that is what i believe I'm hearing. emits a low frequency sound sort of like a whale or a fog horn, although subtle. This occurs intermittently and unpredictably, although slow gentle turns /curves seem to be involved. I am getting new front stabelizer bushings in hope of quieting front end on rough roads, shocks pronounced good, rear shot and am advised billsteins can be purchased in comfort or sport oriented dampening. Open to any commentary there. Just for fun, when I boot it real hard it seems to have ignition cut out/ stumble, not subtle. rather profound at times. Advised could be coils and or a ort all plug wires, and since seperate coils were not on this model, issolation is not as easy. Add money and stir. I am told that this is also possibly related to a tugging at stops that includes slight bounce in tac, ie. computer moving to overcome cutout. Had throttle sensor cleaned, throttle bodies checked, etc.
So far in my perusal of sight I have seen little regarding e-400 124 style. Are there any maverick service manual down loads out there in radio land, so I can figure out what i can do, and what to pay the shop for. Appreciate any and all responses.
