4matic station wagon diesel

4matic station wagon diesel
I am wondering if Mercedes ever produced a diesel 4matic station wagon. If so, what years were they available? If not, can one successfully swap the gas engine in a 4matic with a diesel ? Thanks, Wyatt

No 4-matic diesels ever in sedan or wagon at least in the US. Hoping someday and i keep looking and searching but no info on one coming yet.
As far as conversion good luck i would not try the gas to diesel thing at least in a car that needs to be reiable. I have seen people put MB diesels into Jeep CJ-7s seemed to work. Good luck if u try it.
