My SL500 hardtop opens on its own.. I have had to leave the trunk partition open so the top won't open automatically.. otherwise when I come to a stop it will open.. not all the time but pretty often. Also, when I decide to open it (after closing the trunk partition) it will stop and I have to toggle the switch to start the process again.. I will have to do this up to 5 or so times before I can get it completely opened.. I have the same issue with closing it. Also. at times I can lower the top but then the windows won't function until a few minutes pass by..then they will function.. although sometime the windows will also stop and I have to push the button again multiple times to get them down. I have heard the switch you pull/push to open the hardtop can wear out but not so sure this is the issue as the windows act up (even when using the window switches on the door.. this has gotten progressively worse.. to the point that sometimes I can't get the the top to move.. I just hear a sound like it is starting to open or close then stops.

Any ideas on this?
