Does anyone know if the 2 windows on the convertible are supposed to lower a little when closing the doors? Mine don't.

I have a 96. When I open the door, the windows lower slightly. When I close the door, they goo back up (maybe 1") to form a tight seal. When outside the car and start to open the door with the handle, the windows go down slightly very quickly. In other words, they should already be slightly lower when the door is open.
