I am trying to replace the turn signal / combo. switch on my 03 C240 but cant seem to get the elec. accessory disc removed. This is the part to be removed after steering wheel is removed. I got the 3 screws off on the face of the wheel and got the T-30 loose at bottom right of column but won't come out of the hole. This is suppose to pull directly out toward me but it is stuck. I know it takes some force and I have used enough before breaking something. It feels like something is still holding it on. Could it be the copper plug that extends deeper into the steering column? Any advice would be great.
