Hi. I am new to this forum and hoping to get some information. I am reading many threads here and in other places about hard start/idiling. What can be causing this issue? When cold, the car starts great. when it is has been running, then it has a hard time starting. Also, the SRS light comes on but will go off.

Anyone have any recommendations for this?

Hello and welcome to the forum! Would you happen to know if your car is ODB1 or OBDII? In case it happens to be OBDII, I would suggest that you try pulling the fault codes using a Mercedes scan tool. This should give you a definitive answer as to where the issue is coming from. Please let us know if you have any other questions and we'll be happy to assist.

 

 

The reason I ask is because OBDII started in 1996 with later production cars - having it be OBDII is much easier to diagnose.
