On my '03 SLK320, the driver's side of the convertible top sticks when trying to put the top down! To get the top down I have to push extremely hard on the driver's side of the top while pulling the lever back. After several seconds of pushing it will FINALLY release and the top will go down. Any thoughts?

 

Get a good silicone spray and lube all the hinges at least once a season.
