I found some locking lug bolts for my SLK. After removing one of the stock lug bolts from each wheel to replace it with a locking ones, I noticed on each of them that the last half inch of threads is rusty. Is this a problem and, if so, what can I do about it?[]

 

Rub with a wire brush and use a smear of Moly or Copper slip grease on threads.
