I've seen some SLK's with a shorty antenna. It looks to be about 5 or 6 inches tall. Anyone know anything about these? Do they work OK... where to get them?

 

Mine came with the shorty. You can get them prepainted for your car as well as the standard black. Try ebay and also search here http://www.benzworld.org/forums/

My SLK reception is not as good as my wifes' 318ti, but not bad while in town.

Thanks for the info. How tall is your antenna. My sock one is about 18"

 

I'd used a later model SL antenna on my2001 320Sport.....the antenna is short, looks quite nice and "fits". The reception is not too badeither.
