I have a 2000 SLK 320, and the grey plastic coating on the black plastic interior trim, especially on the centre console and glovebox door is shabby. Anyone got any ideas how to restore it or spruce it up so it looks better? This must be a common problem.

Very common problem; one of MB's worst ideas ever! There is a company called Viponds that sells the exact touch up stuff but its expensive, like everything else about MBs. Look on line for Viponds.
