does it continue to leak after you open and shut the door for more than 5 miles. It is kind of normal, especially during heavy rain, for a small amountwater to be held in the seal after you open and close the door. Itusually drips for a short time then quits. If it leaks continuously then I can't help ya.

Don't drive in the rain??? LOL! But seriously, it's a common problem with the SLK - just look at all the previous posts regarding water leaks at the window.

BTW I religiously keep my seals very clean. I wipe the seals as I dry the car with towels after washin' her. then treat with a uv protectant and conditioner every couple of months to keep them pliable. stop the top 1/2 way back to access the seal around the top, usually a good time to clean the glass too. be careful not to knock off a couple of bumpers that the inside cover flops down on when closing. Will make the cover a bit noisier when it comes down. This isfrom experience. if the sealsare a little hard and not yet cracking. You might try a hair dryer to soften the gasket by heating it up while applying a seal conditioner.
