Hello guys I hope someone can give me some advice on this problem...please!
I have 97 sl500 with 68k miles and i am experimenting a jolt/notch right aftertranny shifts into 2nd and 3rd gear during accelaration. No engine check light. Any idea what i should check into first?

Start with checking Trans oil level but this is not as simple as it sounds.
The gearbox has no dipstick fitted (anti tamper) and checking procedure requires correct temperature of oil.
Several posts on here re making a dipstick. Search Bazzle.
