Intermitent roof operation?

Intermitent roof operation?
Hmm. For some reason my roof has stopped working, well, now and again that is. When I push the button, it lights up, the side windows lower, the boot lifts up then nothnig happens.
I've took the cover out in the front center of the roof and the allen hole fitting rotates as you ould expect, but the roof refuses to budge as the pump appears to stall. When I put an allen key in and rotate it manually, it then opens, so I can a only presume there's a safety switch in the roof to let the jacks know the top's unlocked?
If not is it just straining against the locks?
Any info gratefully received, even if it just needs greasing.
Mark.

RE: Intermitent roof operation?
Thanks Baz, Can you enlighten me a bit more as to where to go looking for these switches? The car recently had the rear window smashed (roof tile fell on it) and was repaired. Bits of glass may be where they shouldn't be, perhaps?
I'm handy with a spanner, (I rebuild engines for fun) but don't have a workshop manual for the SLicK yet.

Thanks again. I found the rear switch, lurking under the right rear corner just under the brush seal. A few wiggles and it makes a nice clicking sound and down came the roof when I tried.
Thanks again. Problem solved.
