when i am in the car and raise the window the top edge fits into the groove in the rubber seal along the edge of the roof. Although when i open the door and close the door the window is to high and seals to the outside edge of the rubber seal along the roof. This does not seem right to me since the window is being stressed outboard to close the door. Is the window supposed to lower to open the door andraise once the door is closed? What makes this do that operation?

 

hello on a 98 slk no the windows do not drop down when opening the door or go up when closing the door. the windows need to be adjusted.
