Default Help removing trunk side panels SLK230

I have a 1998 Slk230 and all of the hydraulic cylinders are leaking except the one located over the drivers head. The top will not move even when topped off with fluid. The problem I’m having is I can’t get the trunk side panels completely off without having the trunk in the reverse open position like when you are taking the top down. So I can’t get to the rear cylinders without the top working but I can’t get the top working without fixing the cylinders.

Is there a manual way to get the trunk in the position I need it in for the panels to be removed?
