Wiper motor

New member. I have a 1990 SL 500 with 53,000 miles. The wiper blade froze in place. I was able to push it down to see. Now, wiper will not work. Could it be a fuse?

I believe there may be a replaceable plastic gear or cog at the base of the wiper arm. I found this diagram Mercedes Wiper/Washer System but it doesn't go inside. You might try other parts suppliers like Rockauto.
