Windscreen for a 92 SL 500

I'm looking to purchase a new windscreen for my SL and was wondering if anyone knew where I could do that. I went to my local MB dealer and they quoted me $629 for it and that is a bit steep.

Ebay...they go for about $250.00

There are auto glass shops in every town. Check the Yellow Pages. Or, you could call your insurance company and ask for a referral. Those shops always do a lot of insurance work.

I got mine off of ebay a few months ago, i'm not sure why they are popular on ebay, but they are usually there

Are you guys getting Pilkington OEM glass? I wonder where THEY are getting it? What about previous posts stating that only the dealership should install window glass since leaking has been an issue? Just curious.

Got mine on ebay. Try the Canadian site though..prices are lower (even with the UPS 3-day) and it's a lot less competetive. I lost 5 auctions on ebay US and bid on ebay Canada and didn't even have to monitor it.
