We stored our 98 SL 500 over the winter and disconnected the battery. When we got in the car after reconnecting the battery, the windows would not go down. After the car sat overnight with the battery connected, I opened the door and they came half way. I synched windows according to book, tested them running them up/down, then the next day they would not work. Tried disconnecting , reconnecting the battery, windows were up then walked away from the car while the driver's door was open and the windows came down half way, like before. Got in the car, rolled windows down, and held the button for 10/20 sec like Mercedes tech said, and that is where they are.Changed fuses, is there a module somewhere? Could it be bad?
