2004 SL500. Repaired leaking cylinder with trunk lid up, pivoted at rear like going to lower top. Filled pump reservoir. Top goes up and down OK but deck lid won't close. If I push it down, goes about 3/4 way and stops. Won't close if I push button on console. At same time, no trunk light and, for some reason, the little bump the side windows do when closing or opening the doors isn't working either. Any ideas really appreciated.
I checked all fuses.
Looked good too.

OK, no help here. ANybody want to buy a 2004 SL500, deep blue metallic with gret interior in beautiful condition, 80k miles - with a trunklid in the up position? Hell of a deal!
