Did the red bag tool kit originally come in a plastic bag?

not that I'm aware of. the top tool comes in a white plastic bag

 

 

pictures say it all. obviously the 107 380sl kit can come in a plastic bag. new, in the car from the dealer, I wasn't aware any model tool kit came in a plastic bag. if ordered as a part, maybe it will come that way. on the other hand, I've never bought a new sl to find out either.
