I am looking for a 99-01 SL500 with the Sport package. I understand what the sport package is suppose to have but when looking at a picture online, I sometimes cannot tell. It seems that someone will put 18" AMG wheels on and advertize it as a sport model when the fenders are not flared, no front skirts, etc. On 99 and 00 models, the word "sport" is on both sides of the car by the vents, where as on 01 models it seems to not be there. Am I correct in that the word "sport" is not on the sides of 01 SL500 sport models? Does the word sport appear anywhere else? What is an easy giveaway to it being a sport model when looking at pictures? Thanks.
